    1. 3.5*Cute short easy read about two guys who get to know each other as they commute every day by train and buy their morning coffees from the coffee shop on the station. The pleasure comes from watching them go from relative strangers to lovers as they bond and discover things about each other over their daily journey to work. Not the most action filled of stories but it's a pleasant romance that fills a corner nicely and gives you a nice dose of sweet ( without too much sugar )romance! likeable! [...]

    2. Sweet short m/m romance about two guys who always see each other at the same coffee shop and then in the train station before their morning commute. I love this cover.

    3. 3.5 starsNow this was a cute little read. I must admit, the first thought that went through my head was the game Clue for a minute (yes, his name was Professor Plum, but Mister is pretty close). I liked how it was the telling of how they first met and getting a glimpse of the beginning of their relationship and later on when they’re happily together. Mister Plum was enjoyable and a nice, short read that I would definitely recommend. It’s short and sweet, a bit of a pick-me-up for anyone who [...]

    4. This short story reminds me so much of the “First Impressions” shorties by Josephine Myles but in a less charming way. I thought there should have been more background about the MCs since the coffee shop premise is just too cute and it just need more stuff to make the characters more relatable. Nonetheless, it’s just a very short story so there’s not much really to fuzz about. I guess it’s pleasant enough, is all I’m sayingRating: 3 out of 5 stars

    5. A pleasant short story about two guys meeting during their morning commute, with some well-observed 'real life' details of how they first notice each other, overcome various barriers, and gradually find their way to the inevitable conclusion. Both coffee and colours played significant parts in the story, so it was always going to appeal to me!

    6. Cute short story of the meeting of a couple. Thank goodness for Kai the barista giving them a bit of a shove :P

    7. 3.5 stars but rounded up to 4 :) This was a short and incredibly sweet romance. It's a great little comfort read and perfect if you're looking for something quick, angst free and adorable.

    8. This was kind of a hot mess, most of it didn't click with me.The little bit of sentimental in the end made me smile though.

    9. I won my copy of this book and no review was required, but I gotta tell you about this book!Another addition to the Too Stinking Cute shelf, and I really rather loved it. Its only short, some 30 odd pages, but its so deliciously sweet!Tom will tell the story of his and Dave's relationship with the beginning in the launderette. But Dave will tell you, it goes back far before then, to a cup of coffee in a paper sleeve that matched Tom's tie. Even though only Dave has a say, and Tom doesn't get a w [...]

    10. I just love Ms. Brown's characters! *grin*Even if the story doesn't work for me, which it did in this case, I just want to hug her characters and take them home with me although, I guess you could say that I already have! heheheThis was a cute, fun read that left a smile on my face and a shared love of the color plum! My spare bedroom is done in three different shades of my favorite color of plum! Dave would love it but probably not so much the floral prints on the wall! *snort* LOL!!!

    11. This is a short story, with a slow build up and a lovely relationship build. It's warm and fuzzy and I loved it!

    12. The opening paragraph of this sweet short story tells you a lot -- two men who dispute the small stuff but agree on the bigger issues have come together over coffee and commuting. It's a slow build-up -- Dave, who fixates on small details, goes from noticing the color of the cup sleeve on the stranger's coffee cup to noticing the stranger, and from chatting to making dates. The fragility of taking such a casual acquaintance as a morning commute to something deeper seems to keep both Dave and Tom [...]

    13. I loved this book. As an English commuter I can totally relate to the need for coffee at train stations in the morning, standing at the same spot on the platform and traveling in the same carriage, its been the story of my life for more years than I care to think about.Dave's favourite colour is plum so its natural he would spot a plum coloured coffee cup sleeve at a thousand paces, then he spots the cute guy holding the cup, and then he wants both the coffee cup sleeve, and the guy.The romance [...]

    14. I loved this book. As an English commuter I can totally relate to early morning meetings over coffee at train stations. Both Tom and Dave are adorable, Dave in particular, I don't like to leave spoilers but I just wanted to say this book is a joy to read, it left me with a nice warm glow inside. It's a lovely book.

    15. This was another outstanding short story. Perfect for reading when your stuck at a doctors office, dance practice or even during your lunch break. Anytime you need a short entertaining break in your day. This was a cute story of how Dave and Tom first meet.

    16. Wish there could've been just a bit more spark to the characters for me to love them together. A short story that is promising but limited by length.

    17. I liked the build-up of the relationship between Tom and Dave and the fact that they didn't jump into bed together straightaway.

    18. Dave and Tom meet at the train platform after getting their coffee. A short story that sets up a relationship. I'd like to see where it goes after the coffee.

    19. A very crisply written, cute short story about the trials of meeting someone new and working through the very beginnings of a relationship.
