Graphic and children's reviews on the blog typically feature two or three images from the book's interior, which are not reproduced here.Note that I don't really do stars. 5. This is a beautifully realized picture book that relaxes adults while they read a story to children that helps explain how to peacefully engage feelings of anger that happen to everyone. The pictures help children see that the Ogre slowly becomes a little boy as his anger dissipates. Ideal for young children --and their harried parents!

    6. I like the hands on nature of this book -- as in, the advice given on how to deal with the anger ogre. It's a little long and tricky for a read aloud, but pretty great for one on one, and I really like the illustrations.

    7. This was advertised in Psychology Today as a good book to explain mindfulness and anger - I would NOT recommend this book. It was not a good explanation at all for kids or adults.

    8. Lost steam toward the end of the book. Then could t recover from the odd wording. This book made me feel the anger ogre coming upon me!

    9. Good book, with tender words and delightful illustrations.Helpful in the management of anger issues for both children and parents!*Copy received via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review*

    10. This is an absolutely delightful book that has wonderful graphics, both fun and engaging to keep children enthralled while still providing a wonderful message.
