    1. Espresso review of Unknown AssailantImagine if you will that, someone is trying to kill you and make it look like an accident. Your friends and even the police think you might be off your rocker. This is exactly what is happening to Liz Davis. When the danger escalates she finds herself confused, scared and alone. She makes a decision to run, leaving her life behind. The tale that unfolds has her setting up a life with a new identity and unwillingly befriending her neighbor Jake Johnson. A stri [...]

    2. **A free copy was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review**I loved this book it grabbed my attention from the first page and held on to me through the last page. It was one of those keep you up half the night reads trying to find out who the assailant was. For more than half the book I thought it might be her uncle, but I was wrong. I won't tell you who it was or what happened other than to say that people thought Liz was crazy when she said someone was after her and that her pa [...]

    3. I received this book as a free giveaway and the author was nice enough to send me a 2nd copy when the first copy was lost by the postal service. That being said, I could only give the book 3 stars. I liked the story line, the characters in this book and the way the author writes; however, I really wanted it fleshed out a little more.If you'd like a quick, fun read this book would be worth your time.

    4. I had such a great time reading Unknown Assailant. It has everything I love in a story. The book is fast-paced, has a great love story, and I can guarantee the ending will surprise you. Lina Gardiner knows how to plot a novel with twists and turns that keep you guessing until the last page. I wonder what she’ll come up with next.

    5. I won this free book from a giveaway.Unknown Assailant by Lina Gardiner is a pretty decent book. It is a quick read (enjoy it by the pool in one afternoon). It isn't suspenseful, but there were a couple of little turns that I wasn't really expecting. Overall I liked the book and I would probably read other books by this author.

    6. Unknown Assailant kept me guessing who the bad guys were and I was WRONG with every guess!! One of Lina Gardiner's best books!! Loved it!
