    1. Reed is a successful divorce attorney who learned early on from his own personal experience with his parents that love doesn't last. With several marriages and partnerships on both his mother's and father's sides to prove it, he's got his hands full with his career, and the occasional helping hand to his half-siblings. Sadly one of his sisters fell through the cracks and he lost contact with her. When Lilah, his sister's friend shows up with the sad news that she passed away in an accident, she [...]

    2. I can't say that I really enjoyed reading The Baby Inheritance but at the same time I can't say that I hated it either. It was just an okay novel. Even though I felt for all of these characters, I didn't feel like the novel was in any way compelling me to finish reading. I just felt bored, tired, and exhausted from the overall experience. I had hoped that this novel felt in a way realistic. I know that when your favourite genre ends up being romance your not always going to have the kind of "rea [...]

    3. The Baby Inheritance by Maureen Child. Reed Hudson is a divorce attorney and swore he would never get married. His parents divorced and each have been married five or six times and has several children because they marry younger men and women. Lilah Strong brings a baby girl to Reed one day. The baby belonged to one of Reeds half sisters. She died and left a note for her friend to take her baby to Reed. Reed want Lilah to stay on as nanny to his niece. Things happen between them.

His home life consists of parents that were married numerous times each and have children from his age to one on the way. Jaded he is and has vowed to never fall in love. Older than his years because he has had to take care of his sister and brother he has had enough family life he doesn't need to have his own, so he lives for his job and resides in a ho [...]

    5. From the beginning I liked how divorce attorney Reed Hudson and Lilah Strong a maker of scented soap and candles chemistry built and burned. Lilah brings his dead sisters baby daughter to him as a letter by Spring Reed's deceased sister requested. Reed asks her to stay and help him prepare a home and find a nanny. Lilah had a great childhood so she is open to love. Reed's childhood was different. His parents married numerous times and had children by many spouses. He was raised by a nanny and bo [...]

    6. I received this book by NetGalley for an honest review and I have to say that I absolutely loved this book! Reed & Lilah were a great couple and little Rose & Micah were just adorable! The thing that I enjoyed the most was the fact that there was no ex's or cheating like most of H's romance books these days, nor was the Hero a douchebag! Yes, it took Reed some time to get past his hangups. but boy was it worth it!

    8. I liked Reed, “Because I don’t want to be your friend, Lilah. What I want from you has nothing to do with being pals.” Reed can be straight and to the point, “I came for you,” he said simply." I enjoyed this book I really liked Reed.

    9. Divorce lawyer, from a broken home, with many half siblings of all ages. Doesn't really know what a family is, let alone a happy family. Enter, someone bringing him his half sister's baby. Can he figure out the meaning of love?Great book, wish the book had been a little longer, with more interaction between the siblings.

    10. This is the 4th book I read by Maureen Child. I loved this book's story line. I loved the chemistry in this story. I loved the hot & steamy scenes. I loved Reed's character. I loved Lilah's character. My heart broke for Lilah & Reed. I loved Rosie, she was so adorable. I loved the ending. Awesome job Ms. Child.

    11. When Lilah's best friend, Spring dies, she leaves her daughter in Lilah's care. Now Lilah must take the little girl, Rose to meet her uncle. Reed is a divorce attorney who doesn't believe in love. He's taken care of his siblings ever since he's been able to help them out when their parents became pros at getting married. Now both of them have been married multiple times with multiple children, leaving Reed to clean up the mess and disbelieve that true love exists. Reed has no idea what to do wit [...]

    12. Wow! First off I am shocked at how high of a rating everyone has placed on this book I ABSOLUTELY HATED it it didn't really have a plot other then two people doing what they needed to be together in the end The characters I just could not get into at all! They were very dull and boring. Nothing really happened in the book, **** Spoilers***** Reeds sister died so he had to raise his sisters daughter that was about as exciting as it got His little brother ran away and stayed with reed for a bit Th [...]

    13. Reed has been severely injured by his parents. So much so that he doesn't trust in love and marriage, and who would? With parents who keep divorcing and remarrying, which has resulted in his 10 siblings and another on the way. Now a famous and wealthy lawyer he's learned to keep everyone at a distance and be the support his family needs while they flit in and out of his life. But when one of his siblings dies, he inherits not only her daughter, but also her best friend. Attracted to her he quick [...]

    14. Cute story about a confirmed bachelor being handed a baby. I love that he is NOT the father but steps up anyway. Lilah has no hidden agenda, everything is right out in the open. She wants what is best for her friend's baby girl. Lilah wants to make sure that Reed is willing to give up living in a hotel and be a family man before she leaves baby Rosie with him. Will love matter to one of the top divorce lawyers in Hollywood?Thank you Netgalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

    15. "Change is a theme that’s woven quite nicely into every aspect of the story, from personal circumstances to overall belief systems. Lilah and Reed sizzle from the outset, so full of emotions they’d like to hide, but it takes change to allow them to see what they’re willing to do for love" (4 1/2 stars TOP PICK! @ RT Book Reviews).Miniseries: Billionaires and Babies

    16. Fun and HotLilah and Reed have an instant chemistry that both find hard to avoid. Reed has spent his life keeping an emotional distance in order to deal with his frequently divorced parents and the growing number of half-siblings and chairs that they produce--it's made him an excellent divorce attorney. When Lilah and his baby niece enter his life, that distance is challenged and he doesn't like the feeling. A great read.

    17. The Baby Inheritance by Maureen Child was a quick, sweet read. The story was predictable, but flows with Ms. Child's regular prose. I wasn't in love with Reed and/or Lilah, but it was a sweet story nonetheless.

    18. I enjoy reading Maureen Child and her books for the Harlequin Desire series are always a fun read. When Lilah shows up at Reed's office with his sister's baby Rosie his whole world changes in a second. He was happy with his bachelor life until they showed him what he was missing. A fairly predictable story but a great romantic love story.

    19. It was a really cute book. The characters were likable and smart. I enjoyed the twists and turns of what are normally limited story lines. Everything you want a little Harlequin romance to be. Maureen Child does a great job again.
