    1. Thank you so much to booksgosocial via netgalley for sending me an ARC copy of Road to redemption by Puja Guha. I didn't realize this was a second book in the series so my opinion may not be the best for this book (so i will skip the obvious developed characters and careers etc.)Overall the book was good. It was filled with violence and action and for not knowing much about the already well developed characters i really liked them.

    2. I became a fan of the author after reading the first book in this series which was how I came to get an Advanced Readers Copy to review. This is a mixture of genres: Espionage and International Intrigue alongside a smidge of Romance. The Ahriman was considered to have died after his last mission. Yet, some people were looking for him to complete a mission that seemed to be his trademark. Since no one was sure if the Ahriman still existed other plans were put in place. Will the cross-purposes be [...]

    3. Road to Redemption is the second book in the Ahriman Legacy series. This is almost as good a book as the first book was. This book can be read as a standalone book, but will make more sense if you read the other book first. The Epilogue let's you know there is more to the story and it isn't over quite yet, but the book does not end in a traditional cliffhanger. There is violence. The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat all of that info here. The author did a g [...]

    4. Puja Guha continues the complex relationship between her protagonist Petra Shirazi, a woman who has paid the price of working for a private espionage agency in terms of lost lives and near personal tragedy, and a man who at one time was Iran's deadliest assassin. In this second volume, the two get together after the disastrous conclusion at the end of the first novel with a new enemy and once again barely escape with their lives. Guha's writing shows her debt to Frederick Forsyth and other stars [...]

    5. AmazingI couldn't put this down (I'm writing this review a couple of hours after my kids have fallen asleep). It reminded me a little of Anne Perry's style of writing but it was definitely way more of a thriller. I accidentally started this without realizing there was a first part to the series but it didn't take away from the story. Not sure if I can go back and read the first book after knowing what happens in this one.

    6. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest reviewThis book is an international spy thriller that has all the elements of agents skulking in the dark to further their agendas. There is murder, duplicity, double crosses, torture, kidnappings, and even a little romance.

    7. In a sentence? I lost the plot very early on. I still can not make up my mind, what this book was about: love story with too many lovers, spy suspense novel a-la Cold War or a terrorism suspense novel of post-2001 fame.I honestly do not know what to make of it. The book was too long. There were too many unecessary details, dialogues and descriptions. There were too many characters as well. Was it about a mole in the Agency…. Well, the mole was way to predictable, if you ask me.I have not read t [...]

    8. Suspense galore made for a hell of a page turner! This novel drew the reader in from the beginning with strong characters and their attempts to strategize held one's attention captive!
