    1. This is my first book by this author and I was not disappointed. Great read that was well written and it kept me hooked.I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

    2. Lucifer 😈This is a new author to me. I liked her writing style. I was definitely intrigued by the blurb. O decided to give this a try, I'm go glad I did. This was a fun read for me. Grace lost her parents and moved to New Orleans. Gets a bartender job that she hates. She visits her mothers friend who warns her what is about to come. Grace feels a presence stalking her. Lucifer shows up. Is Lucifer after Grace, or is this devil trying to save her?

    3. 🔥🔥🔥Five Blazing Hot Stars 🔥🔥Martell nails it with Lucifer! Found a new go-to author! Action, heart, some serious twists, and turns- hidden subtle backstabs - and a whole lot of intrigue wrapped up for an all around five star read! Grace is just prodding through life - everyone and everything that has ever mattered to her has been ripped from her life - doing her best to make it through each day- until the day she sees the darkness and heeds the signsI am trying to write this so yo [...]

    4. I have often wondered if Lucifer's evil reputation is well deserved. This book certainly casts doubt on this theory. How can God's favourite suddenly not only stumble but fall headlong into the fiery pit? A well written novel, 'Lucifer' casts doubt on the wisdom of God's experimental creation of the Human race. I loved how the author creates a new character, namely Grace, adding her to the Holy Trinity. That was a complete surprise. All the characters are well drawn and the story rolls along bea [...]

    5. I received an Advance Reader Copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.A thoroughly enjoyable take on angels, fallen angels, nephilim and Lucifer himself. A wonderful start to a new series which I will definitely be continuing. Lucifer and Grace are well-developed characters as are Phenex, Michael and Uriel. A little to religious for my tastes but I won't hold that against Ms. Martell.

    6. A great readIt's been a couple of years since I read a book in this genre, and I am glad a friend recommended this book to me. I loved this book. It had rotating story telling from the 2 main characters, and was easy to follow. It starts out as the old battle between Heaven and Hell, but morphs into a love story, with an unexpected protagonist.

    7. A hidden gemI accidentally stumbled across this one and I am glad I did. Will keeping an eye on this author hoping this becomes a series.

    8. What Is Burning In🔥 Hell🔥?Lucifer👿, the naaasssty old Devil👹, is bored. Seems like the number of inductees into his Domain has been falling. He blames it on the Archangel👼 Michael. The number of black souls is backing up on 🌎earth. The Archangels👼 are blocking them from entering 🔥Hell🔥, and they sure can't go to Heaven🌈! Lucifer👿 knows what they are up to. They are trying to starve him out, at the expense of poisoning 🌎Earth.Lucifer👿 decides to walk among th [...]

    9. Grace’s back in New Orleans after leaving seven years ago when her parents died. Despite having a degree in journalism, she’s working as a bartender at a bar in the tourist district. Leaving work late at night leads to some creepy encounters, but it becomes more than that when she discovers that not only is she being followed, but someone was actually in her home as she slept.Lucifer is the Devil, literally. Suspecting his brother, Archangel Michael, has released demons on poor humanity, he [...]

    10. This thought-provoking novel goes well beyond the norm for paranormal romances. I mean, it still has the excitement, beauty, sizzle and intrigue that the reader would expect. But there is so much more here. Lucifer is, of course, a force to be reckoned with; he is sharp, savvy, and deviously philosophical. But Grace is a character that’s easy to underestimate. A young woman who’s faced more tragedy than a person her age should have to endure, she deals with the world on her own terms. She’ [...]

    11. 💋 Devilishly Entertaining 💋Seduction starts with the mind, and by words so well chosen as it is here it’s inevitable, desireable, and as enticing the mind , making it as desperately wanted as the next breath.Like a deer in the headlights you cant look away, mesmerized, you think you know whats comming, but you find there is so much more here to discover than you thought. This book Has what I would call power to it. Its so much more than a romance novel, its more than a PNR, or any genre. [...]

    12. rcvd an advanced reader copy from the author for giving my two cents. wow. talk about family drama. we meet Grace who just returned home to NOLA after being in Boston for the past 7 yrs. her parents deaths were long ago but the hurt is still fresh. She meets a lady to tells her that she will meet Him but not to run away from. grace of course thinks it's rubbish. we meet Lucifer, the Devil himself. smtg bad is a foot in earth and he needs to go there. he thinks Michael is causing all the bad. he [...]

    13. "The blackest evil can be the only light that can cut through the shadows"Heaven and Hell. Good and evil. Love and hate. Can there ever be one without the other? Who decides which is right? Who keeps it all in balance? When the "enrollment" in Hell drops, Lucifer suspects an outside force is messing with souls. Deciding to come to Earth to investigate Lucifer finds that maybe things aren't what he remembers. A chance meeting with Grace tilts his world on it's axis. Grace is more than she thinks [...]

    14. Wow! What an original and unique story. Exciting, dangerous, with deceit, and very decadent. But what else would you expect from Lucifer while taking a vacation from hell in the city of New Orleans. But what Lucifer unexpectedly finds is something he'd never experienced since his fall from heaven. The chemistry between Grace and Lucifer was to say the least, electric. This story enchanted me at the first page, the prospects of such a thing happening; thrilling! Just imagine! I live in New Orlean [...]

    15. WowzaWhat a great read. I expected a dark gloomy read of hell fire and brimstone. But what I got was a story perseverance. Lucifer is the the personification of evil, so we are told. But perhaps we were told wrong. Lucifer is thrown in the mix of saving a young women's life. Grace has no one in the world. She was left on her own after her parents died in a car accident. Her life takes an unexpected turn when someone starts following her. Then she meets Lucifer who vowed to protect her from the e [...]

    16. This is an interesting and captivating supernatural romance read, focusing on Lucifer Morningstar, who has painfully travelled up to Earth as someone is interfering with souls reaching hell. He meets human Grace Celestin "The Last" - we are initially unaware of the significance of this term, and we start on a journey to discover how the Devil rediscovers his humanity and how Grace finds her divinity. This is a great story with really interesting characters who knew the Devil could be so inspirin [...]

    17. A great contemporary takeI loved Ava's take on the story of Lucifer. Even those in the dark can be brought back to the light. I enjoyed that the story was tools from both Lucifer and Grace's perspective. There were a few twists I didn't see coming and the princess saves herself and her prince, which doesn't happen enough in books. Grace's journey from victim to warrior gives hope that women are strong enough to save themselves, even if she did have a little help from Lucifer. All in all, a very [...]

    18. Whoa! This was an amazing read! I loved the plot of good verses evil. I was hooked from the very beginning. The plot was awesome with lots of action with twist and turns. The story-line flowed smoothly throughout. I loved the characters which to me were easily relatable. They were well-developed and also helped to pull you into the story. I loved despite the biblical nature of the story it wasn't overbearing. I have found me a new favorite author and can't wait for book 2.I voluntarily read and [...]

    19. I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The concept was unique – damned souls that should descend to Hell are being detained on Earth – but to what purpose? The story was very well written with well-developed, intriguing characters. The plot included mystery, magic, kick-ass action, and some steamy, sexy romance! Does Grace discover the truth of her lineage in time to thwart the prophecy? What role will Lucifer play in the epic battle that’s brewing – is he friend or foe? I voluntarily reviewed [...]

    20. Lucifer may be the devil himself, but he also has a tiny part of him that might still be good. Grace is alone in the world, but there's something different about her, and Lucifer is drawn to her light like a moth to a flame. Grace is equally drawn to Lucifer's darkness, but can they help each other fulfill the prophecy and also save each other in the process? This was a most engaging story, with a thin line between dark and light, and two characters who manage to bring forth feelings long hidden [...]

    21. Worth ItThis book has everything you would want in a Heaven vs Hell fantasy. I found I liked Lucifer right from the start and took his side even though I didn't know everything yet. And Grace was written as a strong female that I rooted for her too. Hell was the better side than Heaven. Written in a style that was easy and enjoyable and added to the story instead of making readers question things on our own. Definitely worth taking the time to read and enjoy.

    22. A good book about Lucifer who is the devil and Grace who has lost her parents while she was younger and she is now trying to start over once again back home in New Orleans. Grace is attracted to Lucifer immediately as many people are, it's just the way of the devil. Lucifer however is shocked to find himself so attracted to Grace. Will Lucifer be redeemed? Does he want to be redeemed? What will happen to Grace? This is a good book that is very interesting and keeps you intrigued throughout.

    23. Love and redemptionLucifer falls in love with one no one would expect and perhaps finds a little redemption. It is an interesting paranormal romance with its basis on angels, but with its own unique twist. It was very easy to read until the end with plenty of twists and turns, action, love, free-will, and ultimate choices. I would definitely consider this to have a happy ending.

    24. Very captivating and interesting sexy read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong characters. I want to read more from this author. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

    25. My first read by Ava Martell. I have to say this was a really good read. I liked the fact that the Devil gets romance. I liked that Grace wasn't a helpless heroine. Lucifer had a great story line and great characters and great secondary characters. I look forward to reading the next in this series!

    26. A different take on the usual story of good and evilI enjoyed this very much,a totally different look at Lucifer and Michael. The story was well written and the plot interesting. I highly recommend this and look foretold reading more by this author.

    27. The thrilling storyline kept me totally enthralled from the very first page and the well defined characters kept me totally engaged until the turn of the very last page!I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

    28. A well written and engaging book. The characters are well developed and I thoroughly enjoyed this book.I will definitely be reading more by this author and I hope this will develop into the series it promises to be.
